चिदग्नि-कुण्ड-सम्भूता देवकार्य-समुद्यता ॥१॥
१. श्रीमाता
She who is the auspicious Mother who gives immeasurable wealth, who removes all sorrows and gives only happiness — indicates also her role of creation.
२. श्रीमहाराज्ञी
She who is the Empress of the Universe, she who takes care of the universe — indicates her role of protection.
३. श्रीमित्संहासनेश्वरी
She who is the queen of the most glorious throne. She who sits on the most glorious throne of lions — indicates her role of destruction.
४. चिदग्निकुण्डसम्भूता
She who rose from the fire-pit of pure consciousness and is the ultimate truth.
५. देवकायसमुद्यता
She who is intent on helping and fulfilling the wishes of the gods.
उद्यद्भानु-सहस्राभा चतुर्बाहु-समन्विता ।
रागस्वरूप-पाशाढ्या क्रोधाकाराङ्कुशोज्ज्वला ॥२॥
६. उद्यद्भानुसहस्राभा
She who has the radiance of a thousand rising suns.
७. चतुर्बाहुसमन्विता
She who is four-armed.
८. रागस्वरूपपाशाढ्या
She who is holding the rope of love in her hand.
९. क्रोधाकाराङ्कुशोज्ज्वला
She who glitters and has anger in the form of Anghusa (goad) –in one of her right hands.
मनोरूपेक्षु-कोदण्डा पञ्चतन्मात्र-सायका ।
निजारुण-प्रभापूर-मज्जद्ब्रह्माण्ड-मण्डला ॥३॥
१०. मनोरूपेक्षुकोदण्डा
She who holds in her hand a sugarcane bow that represents the mind.
११. पञ्चतन्मात्रसायका
She who holds the five subtle elements of touch, smell, hearing, taste and sight as arrows.
१२. निजारुणप्रभापूरमज्जद्ब्रह्माण्डमण्डला
She who makes all the universe immerse in her red colour of her form, which is like the sun in the dawn.
चम्पकाशोक-पुन्नाग-सौगन्धिक-लसत्कचा ।
कुरुविन्दमणि-श्रेणी-कनत्कोटीर-मण्डिता ॥४॥
१३. चम्पकाशोकपुन्नागसौगिन्धकलसत्कचा
She whose hair has been adorned with flowers like champaka, ashoka, punnaga and saugandhika.
१४. कुरुविन्दमणिश्रेणीकनत्कोटीरमण्डिता
She who is resplendent with a crown adorned with rows of precious kuruvinda gemstones.
अष्टमीचन्द्र-विभ्राज-दलिकस्थल-शोभिता ।
मुखचन्द्र-कलङ्काभ-मृगनाभि-विशेषका ॥५॥
१५. अष्टमीचन्द्रविभ्राजदलिकस्थलशोभिता
She who has a beautiful forehead that shines like the crescent moon of the eighth night of the lunar half-month.
१६. मुखचन्द्रकलङ्काभमृगनाभिविशेषका
She who has the tilaka (dot mark) of Musk in her forehead which shines like the black shadow on the moon.
वदनस्मर-माङ्गल्य-गृहतोरण-चिल्लिका ।
वक्त्रलक्ष्मी-परीवाह-चलन्मीनाभ-लोचना ॥६॥
१७. वदनस्मरमाङ्गल्यगृहतोरणचिल्लका
She whose beautiful eyebrows look like ornaments on her face and which shine like the arches leading to the house of kama, the god of love.
१८. वक्त्रलक्ष्मीपरीवाहचलन्मीनाभलोचना
She whose beautiful eyes possess the luster of the fish that move about in the stream of beauty flowing from the pond of her face.
नवचम्पक-पुष्पाभ-नासादण्ड-विराजिता ।
ताराकान्ति-तिरस्कारि-नासाभरण-भासुरा ॥७॥
१९. नवचम्पकपुष्पाभनासादण्डविराजिता
She who is resplendent with a nose that has the beauty of a newly blooming champaka flower.
२०. ताराकान्तितिरस्कारिनासाभरणभासुरा
She who shines with a nose-ring that excels the luster of a star.
कदम्बमञ्जरी-कॢप्त-कर्णपूर-मनोहरा ।
ताटङ्क-युगली-भूत-तपनोडुप-मण्डला ॥८॥
२१. कदम्बमञ्जरीकॢप्तकर्णपूरमनोहरा
She who is captivating, wearing bunches of kadamba flowers as ear-ornaments.
२२. ताटङ्कयुगलीभूततपनोडुपमण्डला
She who wears the sun and the moon as a pair of large earrings.
पद्मराग-शिलादर्श-परिभावि-कपोलभूः ।
नवविद्रुम-बिम्बश्री-न्यक्कारि-रदनच्छदा ॥९॥
२३. पद्मरागशिलादर्शपरिभाविकपोलभूः
She whose cheeks outshine mirrors made of rubies in their beauty.
२४. नवविद्रुमबिम्बश्रीन्यक्कारिरदनच्छदा
She whose lips excel freshly cut coral and bimba fruit in their reflective splendor and beauty.
शुद्ध-विद्याङ्कुराकार-द्विजपङ्क्ति-द्वयोज्ज्वला ।
कर्पूर-वीटिकामोद-समाकर्षि-दिगन्तरा ॥१०॥
२५. शुद्धविद्याङ्कुराकारद्विजपङ्क्तिद्वयोज्ज्वला
She who has radiant teeth which resemble the buds of pure knowledge.
२६. कर्पूरवीटिकामोदसमाकर्षिदिगन्तरा
She who is enjoying a camphor-laden betel roll, the fragrance of which is attracting people from all directions.
निज-सल्लाप-माधुर्य-विनिर्भर्त्सित-कच्छपी ।
मन्दस्मित-प्रभापूर-मज्जत्कामेश-मानसा ॥११॥
२७. निजसल्लापमाधुर्यविनिर्भर्त्सितकच्छपी
She who excels even the veena of Sarasvati in the sweetness of her speech.
२८. मन्दस्मितप्रभापूरमज्जत्कामेशमानसा
She who submerges even the mind of Kamesha (Lord shiva) with the radiance of her smile.
अनाकलित-सादृश्य-चिबुकश्री-विराजिता ।
कामेश-बद्ध-माङ्गल्य-सूत्र-शोभित-कन्धरा ॥१२॥
२९. अनाकलितसादृश्यचिबुकश्रीविराजिता
She whose chin cannot be compared to anything because of its unparalleled beauty.
३०. कामेशबद्धमाङ्गल्यसूत्रशोभितकन्धरा
She whose neck is adorned with the marriage thread tied by Kamesha.
कनकाङ्गद-केयूर-कमनीय-भुजान्विता ।
रत्नग्रैवेय-चिन्ताक-लोल-मुक्ता-फलान्विता ॥१३॥
३१. कनकाङ्गदकेयूरकमनीयभुजान्विता
She whose arms are beautifully adorned with golden armlets.
३२. रत्नग्रैवेयचिन्ताकलोलमुक्ताफलान्विता
She whose neck is resplendent with a gem-studded necklace with a locket made of pearl.
कामेश्वर-प्रेमरत्न-मणि-प्रतिपण-स्तनी ।
नाभ्यालवाल-रोमालि-लता-फल-कुचद्वयी ॥१४॥
३३. कामेश्वरप्रेमरत्नमणिप्रतिपणस्तनी
She who gives her breasts to Kameshvara in return for the gem of love he bestows on her.
३४. नाभ्यालवालरोमालिलताफलकुचद्वयी
She whose breasts are the fruits on the creeper of the fine hairline that starts in the depths of her navel and spreads upwards.
लक्ष्यरोम-लताधारता-समुन्नेय-मध्यमा ।
स्तनभार-दलन्मध्य-पट्टबन्ध-वलित्रया ॥१५॥
३५. लक्ष्यरोमलताधारतासमुन्नेयमध्यमा
She who has a waist, the existence of which can only be inferred by the fact that the creeper of her hairline springs from it.
३६. स्तनभारदलन्मध्यपट्टबन्धवलित्रया
She whose abdomen has three folds which form a belt to support her waist from breaking under the weight of her breasts.
अरुणारुण-कौसुम्भ-वस्त्र-भास्वत्-कटीतटी ।
रत्न-किङ्किणिका-रम्य-रशना-दाम-भूषिता ॥१६॥
३७. अरुणारुणकौसुम्भवस्त्रभास्वत्कटीतटी
She whose hips are adorned with a garment as red as the rising sun, which is dyed with an extract from safflower (kusumbha) blossoms.
३८. रत्नकिङ्किणिकारम्यरशनादामभूषिता
She who is adorned with a girdle which is decorated with many gem-studded bells.
कामेश-ज्ञात-सौभाग्य-मार्दवोरु-द्वयान्विता ।
माणिक्य-मुकुटाकार-जानुद्वय-विराजिता ॥१७॥
३९. कामेशज्ञातसौभाग्यमार्दवोरुद्वयान्विता
The beauty and softness of whose thighs are known only to Kamesha, her husband.
४०. माणिक्यमुकुटाकारजानुद्वयविराजिता
She whose knees are like crowns shaped from the precious red jewel, manikya (a kind of ruby).
इन्द्रगोप-परिक्षिप्त-स्मरतूणाभ-जङ्घिका ।
गूढगुल्फा कूर्मपृष्ठ-जयिष्णु-प्रपदान्विता ॥१८॥
४१. इन्द्रगोपपरिक्षिप्तस्मरतूणाभजङ्घिका
She whose calves gleam like the jewel-covered quiver of the God of Love.

She whose ankles are hidden.
४३. कूर्मपृष्ठजयिष्णुप्रपदान्विता
She whose feet have arches that rival the back of a tortoise in smoothness and beauty.
नख-दीधिति-संछन्न-नमज्जन-तमोगुणा ।
पदद्वय-प्रभाजाल-पराकृत-सरोरुहा ॥१९॥
४४. नखदीधितिसंछन्ननमज्जनतमोगुणा
She whose toenails give out such a radiance that all the darkness of ignorance is dispelled completely from those devotees who prostrate at her feet.
४५. पदद्वयप्रभाजालपराकृतसरोरुहा
She whose feet defeat lotus flowers in radiance.
सिञ्जान-मणिमञ्जीर-मण्डित-श्री-पदाम्बुजा ।
मराली-मन्दगमना महालावण्य-शेवधिः ॥२०॥
४६. सिञ्जानमणिमञ्जीरमण्डितश्रीपदाम्बुजा
She whose auspicious lotus feet are adorned with gem-studded golden anklets that tinkle sweetly.
४७. मरालीमन्दगमना
She whose gait is as slow and gentle as that of a swan.
४८. महालावण्यशेवधिः
She who is the treasure-house of beauty.
सर्वारुणा ऽनवद्याङ्गी सर्वाभरण-भूषिता ।
शिव-कामेश्वराङ्कस्था शिवा स्वाधीन-वल्लभा ॥२१॥
४९. सर्वारुणा
She who is entirely red in complexion.
५०. अनवद्याङ्गी
She whose body is worthy of worship.
५१. सर्वाभरणभूषिता
She who is resplendent with all types of ornaments.
५२. शिवकामेश्वराङ्कस्था
She who sits in the lap of Shiva, who is the conqueror of desire.
५३. शिवा
She who bestows all that is auspicious.
५४. स्वाधीनवल्लभा
She who keeps her husband always under her control.
सुमेरु-मध्य-शृङ्गस्था श्रीमन्नगर-नायिका ।
चिन्तामणि-गृहान्तस्था पञ्च-ब्रह्मासन-स्थिता ॥२२॥
५५. सुमेरुमध्यशृङ्गस्था
She who sits on the middle peak of Mount Sumeru.
५६. श्रीमन्नगरनायिका
She who is the Mistress of the most auspicious (or prosperous).
५७. चिन्तामणिगृहान्तस्था
She who resides in a house built of the chintamani.
५८. पञ्चब्रह्मासनस्थिता
She who sits on a seat made of five Brahmas.
महापद्माटवी-संस्था कदम्बवन-वासिनी ।
सुधासागर-मध्यस्था कामाक्षी कामदायिनी ॥२३॥
५९. महापद्माटवीसंस्था
She who resides in the great lotus forest.
६०. कदम्बवनवासिनी
She who resides in the kadamba forest.
६१. सुधासागरमध्यस्था
She who resides in the center of the ocean of nectar.
६२. कामाक्षी
She whose eyes awaken desire, or she who has beautiful eyes.
६३. कामदायिनी
She who grants all wishes.
देवर्षि-गण-संघात-स्तूयमानात्म-वैभवा ।
भण्डासुर-वधोद्युक्त-शक्तिसेना-समन्विता ॥२४॥
६४. देवर्षिगणसंघातस्तूयमानात्मवैभवा
She whose might is the subject of praise by multitudes of gods and sages.
६५. भण्डासुरवधोद्युक्तशिक्तसेनासमिन्वता
She who is endowed with an army of shaktis intent on slaying bhandasura.
सम्पत्करी-समारूढ-सिन्धुर-व्रज-सेविता ।
अश्वारूढाधिष्ठिताश्व-कोटि-कोटिभिरावृता ॥२५॥
६६. सम्पत्करीसमारूढसिन्धुरव्रजसेविता
She who is attended by a herd of elephants ably commanded by Sampatkari.
६७. अश्वारूढाधिष्ठिताश्वकोटिकोटिभिरावृता
She who is surrounded by a cavalry of several million horses which are under the command of the shakti, Ashvarudha.
चक्रराज-रथारूढ-सर्वायुध-परिष्कृता ।
गेयचक्र-रथारूढ-मन्त्रिणी-परिसेविता ॥२६॥
६८. चक्रराजरथारूढसर्वायुधपरिष्कृता
She who shines in her chariot Chakraraja, equipped with all kinds of weapons.
६९. गेयचक्ररथारूढमन्त्रिणीपरिसेविता
She who is served by the shakti named Mantrini, who rides the chariot known as Geyacakra.
किरिचक्र-रथारूढ-दण्डनाथा-पुरस्कृता ।
ज्वाला-मालिनिकाक्षिप्त-वह्निप्राकार-मध्यगा ॥२७॥
७०. किरिचक्ररथारूढदण्डनाथापुरस्कृता
She who is escorted by the shakti named Dandanatha, seated in the chariot known as Kirichakra.
७१. ज्वालामालिनिकाक्षिप्तवह्निप्राकारमध्यगा
She who has taken position at the center of the fortress of fire created by the goddess,Jvalamalini.
भण्डसैन्य-वधोद्युक्त-शक्ति-विक्रम-हर्षिता ।
नित्या-पराक्रमाटोप-निरीक्षण-समुत्सुका ॥२८॥
७२. भण्डसैन्यवधोद्युक्तशक्तिविक्रमहर्षिता
She who rejoices at the valor of the shaktis who are intent on destroying the forces of Bhandasura.
७३. नित्यापराक्रमाटोपनिरीक्षणसमुत्सुका
She who delights in seeing the might and the pride of her Nitya deities.
भण्डपुत्र-वधोद्युक्त-बाला-विक्रम-नन्दिता ।
मन्त्रिण्यम्बा-विरचित-विषङ्ग-वध-तोषिता ॥२९॥
७४. भण्डपुत्रवधोद्युक्तबालाविक्रमनन्दिता
She who delights in seeing the valor of the Bala Devi (her daughter) who is intent on killing the sons of Bhandasur.
७५. मन्त्रिण्यम्बाविरचितविषङ्गवधतोषिता
She who rejoices at the destruction, in battle, of the demon Vishanga (a brother of Bhandasura, who is personification of physical desires) by the Devi Mantrini.
विशुक्र-प्राणहरण-वाराही-वीर्य-नन्दिता ।
कामेश्वर-मुखालोक-कल्पित-श्रीगणेश्वरा ॥३०॥
७६. विशुक्रप्राणहरणवाराहीवीर्यनन्दिता
She who is pleased with the valour of Varahiv who took the life of Vishukra (another brother of Bhandasura, who is personification of ignorance).
७७. कामेश्वरमुखालोककल्पितश्रीगणेश्वरा
She who created Ganesha by her mere glance at the face of her Lord , Kameshwara.
महागणेश-निर्भिन्न-विघ्नयन्त्र-प्रहर्षिता ।
भण्डासुरेन्द्र-निर्मुक्त-शस्त्र-प्रत्यस्त्र-वर्षिणी ॥३१॥
७८. महागणेशनिर्भिन्नविघ्नयन्त्रप्रहर्षिता
She who rejoices at seeing Lord Ganesha shatter all obstacles (the Vigna Yantra, created by Vishukra meant to delay things).
७९. भण्डासुरेन्द्रनिर्मुक्तशस्त्रप्रत्यस्त्रवर्षिणी
She who rained arrows as counter weapons against Bhandasura.
कराङ्गुलि-नखोत्पन्न-नारायण-दशाकृतिः ।
महा-पाशुपतास्त्राग्नि-निर्दग्धासुर-सैनिका ॥३२॥
८०. कराङ्गुलिनखोत्पन्ननारायणदशाकृतिः
She who created all the ten incarnations of Narayana (Vishnu) from her fingernails . [when Bandasura sent the Sarvasura Astra (arrow), she destroyed it by creating the ten avatars of Vishnu from the tip of her fingernails].
८१. महापाशुपतास्त्राग्निनिर्दग्धासुरसैनिका
She who burned the armies of the asuras in the fire of the missile, by the Maha Pasupatha arrow.
कामेश्वरास्त्र-निर्दग्ध-सभण्डासुर-शून्यका ।
ब्रह्मोपेन्द्र-महेन्द्रादि-देव-संस्तुत-वैभवा ॥३३॥
८२. कामेश्वरास्त्रनिर्दग्धसभण्डासुरशून्यका
She who burned and destroyed Bhandasura and his capital Shunyaka with the Kameshvara missile.
८३. ब्रह्मोपेन्द्रमहेन्द्रादिदेवसंस्तुतवैभवा
She whose many powers are extolled by Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva and other gods.
हर-नेत्राग्नि-संदग्ध-काम-सञ्जीवनौषधिः ।
श्रीमद्वाग्भव-कूटैक-स्वरूप-मुख-पङ्कजा ॥३४॥
८४. हरनेत्राग्निसंदग्धकामसञ्जीवनौषधिः
She who became the life-giving medicine for Kamadeva (the god of love) who had been burned to ashes by the fire from Shiva’s third eye.
८५. श्रीमद्वाग्भवकूटैकस्वरूपमुखपङ्कजा
She whose lotus face is the auspicious Vagbhava Koota (a group of syllables of the Panchadashi mantra).
कण्ठाधः-कटि-पर्यन्त-मध्यकूट-स्वरूपिणी ।
शक्ति-कूटैकतापन्न-कट्यधोभाग-धारिणी ॥३५॥
८६. कण्ठाधःकटिपर्यन्तमध्यकूटस्वरूपिणी
She who from her neck to her waist is of the form of the Madhya Koota (the middle six syllables of the Panchadasakshari mantra).
८७. शक्तिकूटैकतापन्नकट्यधोभागधारिणी
She whose form below the waist is the Shakti Koota (the last four syllables of the Panchadasakshari mantra).
मूल-मन्त्रात्मिका मूलकूटत्रय-कलेबरा ।
कुलामृतैक-रसिका कुलसंकेत-पालिनी ॥३६॥

She who resides inside ‘samaya’.

She who likes Samayachara i.e. worship stepwise from the Mooladhara Chakra.

She who resides at the center of the Aj~nA Chakra.

She who breaks through the knot of Shiva.
१०५. सहस्राराम्बुजारूढा
She who ascends to the thousand-petaled lotus.
१०६. सुधासाराभिवर्षिणी
She who pours out streams of ambrosia.
तडिल्लता-समरुचिः षट्चक्रोपरि-संस्थिता ।
महासक्तिः कुण्डलिनी बिसतन्तु-तनीयसी ॥४०॥

She who is as beautiful as a flash of lightning.
१०८. षट्चक्रोपरिसंस्थिता
She who resides above the six chakras.
१०९. महासक्तिः
She who is greatly attached to the festive union of Shiva and Shakti, and who likes worship by her devotees.

She who is in the form Kundalini (a form which is a snake hissing and exists in mooladhara).
१११. बिसतन्तुतनीयसी
She who is fine and delicate as the fiber of the lotus.
भवानी भावनागम्या भवारण्य-कुठारिका ।

She who confers prosperity on her devotees.

She who is slender-waister or she has a thin belly.

She who is peace personified.

She who is without any dependence.
१३३. निरञ्जना
She who is devoid of any blemishes or scars.
निर्लेपा निर्मला नित्या निराकारा निराकुला ।
निर्गुणा निष्कला शान्ता निष्कामा निरुपप्लवा ॥४४॥

She who stays unattached, bound to nothing.
१३५. निर्मला
She who is free from all impurities.
१३६. नित्या
She who is eternally stable.
१३७. निराकारा
She from whom all forms arise or she who is without a form.
१३८. निराकुला
She who is always calm and has utmost clarity.

She who is fond of the chanting of the Sama Veda.

She who is benign and gentle in nature; like the moon.

She who is the wife of Sadashiva.
सव्यापसव्य-मार्गस्था सर्वापद्विनिवारिणी ।
स्वस्था स्वभावमधुरा धीरा धीरसमर्चिता ॥१६९॥

She who occupies (or can be reached by) both the left hand path (vama marg) and right hand path (dakshina marg) of tantric worship.

She who is sweet in her inherent nature.

She who is worshipped with consciousness as the oblation.
९१९. चैतन्यकुसुमप्रिया
She who is fond of the flower that is never-fading, like consciousness.

She who is ever shining, she who never sets, like the sun.
९२१. सदातुष्टा
She who is ever pleased.
९२२. तरुणादित्यपाटला
She who is rosy like the morning sun.
दक्षिणा-दक्षिणाराध्या दरस्मेर-मुखाम्बुजा ।
कौलिनी-केवला ऽनर्घ्य-कैवल्य-पददायिनी ॥१७१॥

She who is adored by both right and left-handed worshippers.

She who confers the priceless fruit of final liberation.

She who is the bright lamp that drives away ignorance.

She who is worshipped by all, even by children and cowherds.
